> The San Francisco tech scene, on a map you can walk. A mobile-first map of San Francisco's startups, scaleups, big tech, VCs, accelerators, coworking, hacker houses (at neighbourhood level) and events, with walking tours and a free API and MCP server.

Scope: San Francisco city limits only. Entities: startups, scaleups, big tech, corporates, VCs, accelerators,
coworking, hacker houses (neighbourhood level only), community spaces, cafes and landmarks, plus events, a
change log and editorial walking tours. Facts are bands and our own words; every record cites sources.

- Rate limits: anonymous REST 60 requests/min per IP; MCP tools/call 60/min per client within a per-IP ceiling; identical call repeated 10x in 30 s is refused. Counters are best-effort per server instance until the shared store is enabled.
- Errors: RFC 9457 application/problem+json with a corrective hint; MCP errors return isError (schema errors name the field; data errors add a Hint line).
- Every response carries meta.dataset_version, meta.as_of, meta.attribution and meta.license_url.
