From Third Street past Cognition, Harvey and Anthropic to Databricks and Perplexity, with a stop in the rooftop park and coffee at the end.
The city's business registry and company sites place a cluster of AI company offices in the South Beach and Financial District blocks around the Salesforce Transit Center. This walk visits seven stops, from a coding-agent company on Third Street to a downtown answer-engine company, and ends with coffee.
Getting there: Start near Third and Brannan; Muni runs on King and 4th Streets and Caltrain stops at 4th and King.

The city's registry lists Cognition Ai, Inc. at 550 3rd Street from December 2025. Our record describes the company as the maker of the Devin coding agent. It has not published a door, so you stand on the block.

Stop 2 of 7
Block from the DataSF registry; suite number is the registry's, not published by Harvey.
Harvey's registry entry is for Harvey Ai Corporation, formerly Counsel Ai Corporation, at 201 3rd Street, suite 6000, from July 2025. The company's own site describes AI software for legal and professional services. Suite 6000 is on a high floor, so the street shows you only a tower.
Look for: The 201 Third tower; the company is far above the sidewalk.
Private office. Nothing to see inside; the building is the story.

Stop 5 of 7
160 Spear St
Databricks lists the 15th floor of 160 Spear Street as its address, and the city's registry has it here from January 2015. SFist reported a 150,000 square-foot lease at One Sansome in 2025 for a new downtown headquarters, so this address may be the previous one.
Look for: An ordinary office lobby; the story is in the lease, not the frontage.
Worth seeing from the street.
