The Bay Area
tech map.

The Bay Area tech scene is spread across a peninsula, a bay and a dozen cities. SF Tech Map starts in San Francisco and is built to reach out along the whole region, from the city to Silicon Valley and across the water to the East Bay.

Covering the whole Bay Area

  • San Francisco, where the map begins: SoMa, FiDi, the Mission, Mission Bay and beyond.
  • The Peninsula and Silicon Valley, including Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Sunnyvale and San Jose.
  • The East Bay, including Oakland and Berkeley.
  • Startups, venture capital firms, accelerators, big-tech campuses and coworking spaces in each.

Why a map and not another list

Lists tell you who exists. A map tells you what is near what. In a region where a meeting can mean a train, a shuttle or a long drive, geography is the whole game, so SF Tech Map is a map first and a directory second.

Built for your phone

You will be using it between meetings, so SF Tech Map is a mobile-first web app. Add it to your home screen early and it will be waiting there when the map opens.
